Ina notes: “I love the look of old tin prints and large polaroids. The depth and clarity is still today superior to most of the best modern equipment. I hand color each photo, working with the elements of the shot to create a hip, bold work that really wakes up your walls. I print out on archival, Kodak Endura paper. This thick luster paper is one of the best in the industry. With all the depth and pop you would expect from a darkroom print.”
Ina Christensen is the photographer behind “Walking to Jericho” photo studio! Old black and white photographs or polaroids are hand colored and transformed into pop pieces that will definitely rock your walls!

Whimsical and poetic digital photo collages by Lyse Marion, the artist behind Imagine Studio. Mixing and experimenting with various digital techniques and inspired by nature, Lyse creates bold imagery with a touch of mystery. As the artist states in her online bio: “Through more than 30 years, my one constant expression in art has been Collage, and for the past five years I have been working on transferring this art form into the digital world. Layers upon layers of thoughts, emotions and research have been turned into transparencies, textures, colours, depth, emotions, portraitures, etc. This virtual digital world of seemingly endless possibilities has given me a new take on my artwork, allowing me to pursue even further my undying need to produce lyrical, evocative and sometimes provocative images.” Focusing in both still life and in landscapes, Maritere notes “Through my work I strive to stimulate the senses with images that can bring happiness, inspiration and beauty into people's lives; to challenge the viewer to imagine, to dream. A lot of thought and creativity are put into my work which reflects on treasured memories and my love for family, travel, art, design, architecture, nature, and life itself”.
A rich photo collection capturing magical moments filled with abstract inspiration through the lens of a dreamer. The overwhelming colors of Tracey’s photographs are simply incredible! Images that seem to be taken out of a fairy tale or a magic wonderland of some sort …
Visit her gallery and view nature at its best! Macro photography depicting birds, flowers, trees, butterflies and more. An impressive and dreamy collection indeed! Susannah Tucker is a self taught photographer who isn’t afraid to experiment with various mediums and techniques. She is inspired by “vibrant colors, watching the clouds drift across a blue sky, spring blossoms, the feel of sand and grass underfoot, rustic country scenes, all things vintage and brown paper packages wrapped in string”.
I really like the softness and poetic feel of her photo collection. Her emotive butterfly series is my favorite. In the Garden Shed one can find a mesmerizing collection of nature inspired macro photography. As Karon, the photographer notes “I am in awe of the beauty in the tiny worlds that can be captured by a photograph...my niece and I collect bits of moss and lichen from the trees to carpet the fairy house in my garden. I love the textures and blue green of this bit growing on a maple tree in our yard ~ it could be a forest on the side of a towering mountain or a wee woods on the branch of a tree...amazing!” Brilliant landscape shots by Irene Suchocki. I adore her water inspired photographs – very whimsical and emotive. The photographer notes “I enjoy experimenting with different styles and techniques, both in-camera and in my digital darkroom. Faithfully capturing a scene is less important to me than finding that little bit of mystery or evoking a certain mood”. A fabulous collection of flower macro photography by Amelia Kay!
I particularly like the soft color palette and painting-like touch of her work. Really brings out romantic, dreamy feelings. It made me smile! The photographer lives and creates in Denver. |
