A truly lovely collection of vintage inspired silver plated pendants by China Cherie. The detail and elegance of these pieces goes without saying and you’ll be amazed by the variety of designs available.
A wonderful selection of dreamy vintage jewelry by Japonica! I love the delicateness of their pieces. “Japonica, which means Japan white windflower, symbolizes pureness, wilderness, hope and absolute freedom. This is how we want our creations to be... We planted hope in our Japonicas (referring to our creations) and it is hard to part with any of them. Nevertheless, we slowly learn that japonicas are meant to take greater heights, to take off and fly...” Gorgeous repurposed jewelry by the White Owl creative duo. If you like vintage, you’ll fall in love with this collection where lace and various vintage elements are artfully composed to inspiring pieces, ideal for romantics and daydreamers!! Here is what the two designers (sisters) note: “Many of our materials are rescued from estate sales, flea markets and even our own Grandmother! It is important to us to try to use repurposed materials as much as we can but we also love the mix of old and new.” Vilte is all about gorgeous felt eco art! In this online shop one can find fresh accessories and garments, handmade exclusively with natural and organic materials. A very interesting statement of the designer: “Felting is my passion, my expression, meditation, my relation to the world. I have been a feltmaker for the past few years, absolutely obsessed with this enchanting world of fibers... I have published a book "Veltinis" ("Felt", 2008) about felting technique in Lithuania (it is the first book in Lithuania covering this textile art). I work with various kinds of wool and other natural fibers. I always prefer organic, sustainable materials for my felted items. Raw wool that I use in some of my pieces comes only from small scale shepherds who love and care for their sheep. I also practise dyeing with plants in eco friendly way. I prefer safe plants and don't use any heavy metal mordants. When I use synthetic dyes, I also choose only approved ones by OKO TEX standarts. I enjoy principles of slow fashion and slow art, and I support ethical fashion and design. My main areas of work are applications of nuno felting techniques, i.e. combining wool and fabric in felt and working with raw fleece.” I’m always happy to discover new creations in Etsy, that’s why I was utterly thrilled by Fleurfatale’s fresh jewelry collection!

I was in awe when I discovered Manuel Albarran’s metal couture collection! Magnificent metal accessories for the most intricate and notorious tastes! The designer has finished his studies and fashion and has been experimenting in various art fields. Presently he is devoted in Metal Couture, a new artistic concept that combines metal and various other materials and fashion techniques. Handcrafted charming pieces with a mystic essence by Markhed Designs. Here is a very interesting introduction to both the creative procedure and inspirations of the designer: “To begin with, I re-use discarded metal items to create many different types of jewelry. I find the act of bringing new value to something seen as worthless an exciting concept. As technology continues to change rapidly, the items we discard seem to increase tenfold. Reuse is my reaction to this culture of disposal. I complement this recycled fashion with some labor intensive pieces begun from scratch. For these I use a variety of materials, from precious metals such as silver and gold to brass and copper. These projects offer me a playground for the expression of my own aesthetic.” Absolutely fresh and original paper creations by the “Le Creative Sweatshop” team.
“Le Creative Sweatshop is the result of the encounter between Ndeur and Make a Paper World in January 2009: a conceptual agency based of modern communication means and mediums, through the lens of the DIY culture, working on volume and space scenography.” Here you see a sample of their paper accessories. Make sure to drop by their site for more paper magic! Tara, the designer of SWANclothing takes care of every tiny detail in the creative procedure of making her accessories. This shows even in the beautiful and professional way her products are stylized and photographed. Here you see her summer lace version of SWANclothing sock garters. Charming! |
