Who is behind Eye Candies
Aphrodite Ioannou is DigiPop and was brought into this fascinating world during the summer of 1978 through an interracial chromosome exchange from Greece, England and Smirni.
Her love for art and anything creative urges her to seek artistic expression in various forms. Free hand pencil drawing, design / illustration and digital photography are the main fields of her interest and therefore, she tries to spend as much time as possible in both evolving and experimenting with new techniques. She is inspired by everyday life, interesting and creative people and music. She is particularly interested in depicting emotions in her portraits.
Aphrodite has been creating Digital Portraits and digital illustrations since 2006 and many of her pieces have found their way into private collections both in Greece and abroad. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and her work has been featured in various mags, art books, blogs etc.
She is currently not taking commissions for Digital Portraits.
