The photos presented here are captured by Douglas Friedman and share a common trait: the green element. Whether it is a wall color, furniture, plants or just green deco details, I’m sure you’ll be amazed by the overall feeling. Also, I couldn’t resist including some fabulous exteriors as well!
Green rests the eye and calms the nerves. That’s why the room where actors and performers use for their accommodation before they go on stage is called “Green Room”. Color green and its infinite variations has many more virtues. It’s fresh, it brightens up your space and more importantly, blends beautifully with other colors.

Some amazing interior photography by Mikkel Adsbol, a Danish photographer who obviously has a good eye for capturing the essence of lifestyle. As he mentions in his site: “Lifestyle is exciting because the challenge lies in creating rooms. Rooms the way they look. Rooms the way they might look. Rooms as rooms within a room. Lifestyle is so much more than white walls and four-legged chairs. It is also a mood. A composition that has to strike a balance in a dedicated teamwork of stylists, craftspeople and designers to achieve the best possible result. Lifestyle is about creating moods that inspire, provoke and take things to a new place.”
Lovely objects, beautiful arrangements, stunning colors and a positive vibe are the key elements of the following shots. This is what I call: Living Easy! A gorgeous 1904 farm house renovated by Schappacher White Ltd, a N.Y. based architecture and interior design firm.
Colors in white, crème and darker shades of brown and black, combined with contemporary and vintage elements create a warm and cozy atmosphere. Natural lighting throughout the spaces is simply amazing. I absolutely love the kitchen wall / black board. A very arty touch! The old rocking chair is another all times classic! What are your favorite elements? I have a soft spot for vintage and used objects. That is why I absolutely adored this kitchen, where all modern necessities are combined with antique furniture and various old accessories. I particularly love the car on the wall, the red smeg fridge and the vintage dishes. How about you?
