The latest collection of Gareth Pugh for Fall 11 is highly influenced by religious iconography and Florentine opulence. The British designer presented his Italian fashion debut in Florence on January 13, 2011 at Pitti Immagine #79, showcasing his opulent designs via a unique fashion film, created with Ruth Hogben.

The video reveals a real feast for eyes and ears ushering the viewers into the mysterious world of the rectangular fold designs and body movement's art interlinked with climactic sounds. The plot resembles a journey of souls straggling with darkenss and lure of seduce with the glorious finale of ethereal and immaculate beings in Paradise.

Editorial: The name of the rose
Photographer: Ellen Rogers
Styling: Pandora Lennard
Model: Kristine Drinke

A fairy tale touch with a gypsy sense of freedom. She is like a Sleeping Beauty lost in the bohemian wonderland seeking for her unfulfilled dreams. Astonishing pictures of marzipan rose color give the impression that they were captured somewhere in the frozen scenes from Grimm's Brothers stories or even resemble to old photographs of our grandmothers. Pretty amazing!

Take a look at this editorial... Don't you have an impression that Liya - the model -  is like a flower in the middle of an uninhabited desert on the other end of the world?  Dark outfits contrasts with the background of a sunny harsh landscape while wind blowing on the delicate fabrics makes the model even more delicate and insecure.

Paco's Archive

Stylist: Sarah Richardson
Model: Eniko Mihalik

Is she a water nymph bathing in sunlight? Or maybe a wild human-like creature ready to attack on sun - bleached shore? Maybe these doubts will have to be left unanswered, while the highly contrasted black and white photography of Paco Rabanne's masterpiece depicts the wilderness of metal instinct. The mystery in the model's eyes, ruffled hair and outstanding posing increase the wildness of the pictures.

Magazine: Vogue UK
Editorial: Island in the Sun
Photographer: Carter Smith
Model: Anja Rubik

The photography by Carer Smith fully presents the tropical climate: bright, exotic colors, beautiful views and an azure sea. The model gives the impression of a flower child hidden somewhere in the picturesque island with the exoticism of faraway climes. She looks like a bird of paradise ready to fly away seeking for adventures. Her delicate features contrast with vivid colors of coral red, green and yellow. Incredible shoots!

Her face is sprinkled with water, long hair looks like delicate stalks twined around her body, or suspended in the air. She is like a mermaid, the legendary Ondine or the siren that sings in an angelic voice seducing and provoking sailors from the Greek myths about Odysseus... The magic of the pictures completes the overwhelming bliss and noble colors of turquoise, grenade, purple and silver. The ambience of the sea depths is complemented with the styles of the evening dresses that refers to the figure of a siren with a scaled texture. Just have a glance at her - it's enough - she looks like proverbial fish in the water!

Magazine: So Chic
Editorial: Oneiros
Photographer: Bruno Dayan
Art Director: Yann Weber

“Astral Dream” - was my first impression when I saw this editorial - so special, magic, captivating and magnificent... You are not sure if it's a dream or life, if it's happening on the surface or at large depths, is this just a fantasy in your head or you really perceive it. The illusion of lights, colors, the presence of an alter ego, the vision of an astral body when the soul is sleeping … This is how I try to comprehend it, how about you?

Femme fatale in person - feline, seductive eyes, scarlet red lips, sexy, alluring and graceful poses, madly short mini, smoldering cigarette - we have all the criteria describing such a feminine phenomenon? Oh, yes I forgot one more - "there's no rose without a thorn".
