"Portal" I was thrilled when I received an email from Andrew Smith introducing me to his mind blowing artwork! Old and abandoned items such as gears, wires, springs, junk yard scraps and all sort of mechanical parts & equipment are ritually collected by the artist and used to assemble imaginative and captivating kinetic sculptures.

The human form is a subject that deeply inspires Antony Gormley who has been creating sculptures of the human body and experimenting with the notion of transformation and collective identity for the last 25 years.
The artist’s both sculptures and large scale installations have been exhibited internationally. Amazing wire sculptures by artist Frank Plant. The artist often experiments with various techniques that incorporate wooden backgrounds, light boxes, sensors, sounds and music in his 3d pieces, seeking for alternative ways of visual communication with viewers. Frank Plant’s work has found its way into public and private collections all around the world. The American sculptor is currently living and creating in Barcelona.
