Tim Witteveen creates small samples of our natural world: mosses, stones and lichens placed within beautifully colored glass shapes that are certain to add a touch of green to one’s space. The designer has a background in illustration but gradually grew an interest for living dioramas within which he could unfold his creativity and love for nature. As he notes: “A well designed terrarium will stir your imagination and could transport you into a daydream. Look very closely, and you may see yourself as a child exploring the landscape within.” Just how cool and creative is to design an amazing robot by collecting and assembling used parts? Too cool I’m sure! I was amazed with the detail and design of these original robot sculptures, created by talented Brian Marshall who notes: “Soon, my basement became a place where all the unwanted, used up parts from commercial enterprises and residential homes could now come to find hope. This was when I created the world’s first robot orphanage. These parts refused to give up on life just because they were being discarded. So with a little help from myself, these parts were coming together with new and unusual friends to fulfill their dreams of once again bringing joys to others.” In Adoptabot you can browse through a wider selection of bots, waiting for you to adopt them :)
