I was completely awestruck when I discovered the dark conceptual photo gallery of Caryn Drexl!

A very talented girl with many faces quoting Frida Kahlo “I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best”. In the artist’s ellemoss gallery one can find a wide variety of conceptual shots. Romantic, dark, emotive, even surreal visual images compose an inspiring and dreamy collection!
The artist’s artwork has been featured in numerous art sites and magazines. A lomography enthusiast, Jean Christophe Sartoris and his Holga present the Metropolis photoseries. Breathtaking shots buildings and very interesting textures are captured in these awe striking urban visuals in black and white. I particularly like the variety in perspective and the way the artist uses empty space. Fortune Telling Almost like from another era robinkore’s photos immediately caught my eye. Nostalgic, dark but also very intense and emotive. The kind of imagery that manages to wake long forgotten memories. Burcu Kabaosmanoglu is the name of the 24 year old Turkish girl behind the lens. I’m looking forward to viewing more by her soon. In white veiled walls Conceptual, dark, emotive shots by a very talented artist and founder of Project Mag. Whether it is portraits, architecture or abstracts, her photos bear a poetic story of their own. [click to zoom and view captions]
